Work With Me
Clinician-researcher · Published in Springer, SAGE & Elsevier · U.S. “Extraordinary Ability”

You've tried therapy.
You've tried medication.
You've tried meditation.
Now use the mechanism.

Picture a lemon — really picture it: the waxy peel, the smell as your nail breaks the skin, the sour sting as you bite in. If there’s even a little more saliva in your mouth than a moment ago, notice what just happened — you didn’t decide to salivate. A trigger fired and your body obeyed. Your fears, your spirals, your “that’s just how I am” run on the same wiring: automatic, not chosen. Most methods teach you to live alongside it. This one switches the specific circuit off — and you test, yourself, on the spot, whether it’s off.

No diagnosis, no treatment, no hype — only disciplined work and a method with peer-reviewed publications behind it.

The Uncomfortable Truth

"If everything you've tried has only taught you to live with it — you were never shown how to end it."

Most approaches manage symptoms.
They teach you to cope, breathe, reframe, accept.
Some of them help — for a while.

But the engine that generates the fear, the pain, the pattern — it's still running.
Nobody showed you where it is, or how to shut it off.

That's not a failure of willpower. That's a failure of method.

The Idea in 60 Seconds

What “the mechanism” actually is

A feeling is a charge — installed once, then fired automatically ever after. The charge itself isn’t the real problem; it’s smoke. The fire is the circuit that keeps producing it — which is why talk therapy and counseling help for a while, then plateau: they work on the smoke. Fire that circuit on purpose, but starve it of the fuel that normally keeps it intact — the retelling, the reassurance, the avoidance — and it discharges. With nothing left to feed on, the charge drops to zero.

What happens now

Something sets you off — and it can be almost anything: a memory, a person, a place, a sensation in your body, a thought that lands at 3 a.m. Before you can reason with it, the reaction is already running — the fear, the racing pulse, the spiral, the symptom. You’ve tried to talk yourself out of it. You can’t. That was the tell all along: it was never under conscious control.

After

You go back to that same trigger on purpose — and there’s nothing there. Not “managed,” not “a bit calmer.” Empty. And you’re the one who checks: you fire the old trigger in the real-world situation that used to set it off, and watch it come up with nothing.

What this asks of you: almost nothing. No doctrine to absorb, no months of training — applied correctly, the method works the first time, out of the box. And the less you need to argue the theory before you try it, the faster and sharper the result tends to be. It isn’t a cure for an illness; it’s a specific skill — and the only thing that settles it is watching the charge you chose hit zero when you fire the old trigger in the real-world situation that used to set it off.

The Guarantee

One problem to a true zero — confirmed by you

What I actually offer is not hours — it is a defined finish line. I do not sell sessions or weeks. I teach you the skill and stay with it until you can demonstrably run it yourself. My direct involvement is small on purpose: roughly three hours of live one-on-one time (a first session, then two weeks of direct messaging as questions arise, then a closing session). People trained by slow coaching find this hard to believe — they were taught that results must take months. They don’t. The brevity is a property of the mechanism, not a shortcut.
The Guarantee

At the interview we choose several of the problems you want gone, score each one 0–10, and pin down the exact real-life situations where each one fires. My work is finished the moment one of those problems reaches a true zero — confirmed by you, in a real-world situation in your life, not just on a call. I commit to reaching that within two weeks. In practice it usually lands in the very first session, with a few days of follow-up questions by message. Whatever else is on your list, you finish yourself — because by then you own the method.

Think of it like a warranty written against a term and a clear finish line, not against vague promises. It is also why the interview comes first: I accept only cases where the method structurally applies, so I can stand behind that line. This is a commitment about what you will be able to do and measure — a capability, taught — not a medical promise about any condition.

But understand what the two weeks ask of you. Because the method is self-applied, the real work happens when I am not on the call. After the first session you don’t return to your day as if nothing changed — you sit with it and apply the method to yourself, again and again. Realistically that is dozens of hours of your own practice across the two weeks, not three. So you must free up the time — especially right after the first session, you should have open, unhurried hours ahead of you, not somewhere to rush off to. If you cannot clear that space in your life right now, this is not the right moment to begin.

No money-back gimmick on a feeling. The commitment is a finish line you confirm yourself — and the interview comes first, so I only take cases the method actually fits.

Where the Proof Comes From

You don’t have to take this on faith

Almost nothing here rests on trust. So here is exactly where the proof comes from, in three layers: what independent labs have already settled, what you prove to yourself in the first session, and what is honest interpretation. The part that matters most, you confirm with your own eyes — not on my say-so.

Layer 1 · Independently proven

Settled in other people’s labs

None of this is mine to claim — it is published, peer-reviewed, and sells you nothing. A single neuron computes like a multi-layer network. Lab-grown human neurons learn to play Pong. A brainless slime mold solves problems that stump engineers. Chronic stress drives measurable inflammation in the body. Suggestion can plant a vivid memory of something that never happened. And a scan can “light up” in a dead fish — so a brain image alone proves nothing.

The thread: a cell is not a passive dot. It computes, learns, remembers, and talks to the rest of the body. That is the ground the method stands on.
Layer 2 · You prove it yourself

The part you verify firsthand

That a specific charge can be driven to zero — by firing its circuit fully in the brief window when a reactivated memory turns editable, without the fuel that keeps it intact. In the formal, population-level sense, the science isn’t closed; that is the honest academic status. But you don’t need the textbooks to close it, because you close it yourself: pick a charge, score it 0–10, take it to zero, and check it in your own life. “Demonstrable, not yet textbook” is the same standing as “a single cell computes” — shown, repeatable, and verifiable whether or not the journals have caught up.

Reconsolidation window: Nader et al. 2000 · Schiller et al. 2010 · Monfils 2009 · therapeutic reconsolidation (Ecker)
How you’ll know: not because I said so — because the number you picked went to zero and stayed there in a real-world situation.
Layer 3 · The wider view

What the work keeps showing

Past the proven mechanics sits a larger picture — about what a “self” really is, about the quiet that remains at the trigger point once the charge is gone, about awareness reaching all the way down to the cell. I won’t dress this up as laboratory fact. But it isn’t idle speculation either: it is what years of this work, with person after person, keep pointing to.

A map drawn from experience — non-dual and apophatic traditions, and what repeatedly shows up in the room.
How to hold it: as a map, not a receipt. Judge it the way you judge everything else here — against what actually happens when you run it.

None of it asks for belief. You don’t study and you don’t rehearse arguments — you pick one charge, score it, and take it to a true zero you confirm in your own life. The proof was always going to be yours, not mine.

Why This Isn't "More of the Same"

What You've Been Told
vs. What I Teach

This is an educational comparison — not a medical claim.
The Efremov Method® is a structural approach documented in peer-reviewed publications.

You learn a structural skill — and then you apply it to your own patterns.
The education is the intervention.

Conventional Approach

Teaches you to cope with the symptom

Breathing techniques, cognitive reframing, journaling, gradual exposure. The goal is management — learning to "live with it."

The Efremov Method®

Locates and collapses the engine that produces it

Three structural steps: locate the generator, collapse the charge, verify live. The goal is absolute nothingness at the trigger point — not calmness, not acceptance. Zero.

Conventional Approach

Psychotherapy often requires trance, relaxation, or altered states

Whether it's hypnotherapy, meditation-based, or guided imagery — most approaches require you to enter a particular mental state before the work can begin.

The Efremov Method®

No hypnosis induction. No trance. No ritual.

This method works in the opposite direction — it brings you out of existing automatic patterns rather than putting you into any state. No altered state required. No relaxation phase. You remain fully conscious throughout.

Conventional Approach

Requires re-telling your trauma story

Talk therapy, CBT, and most psychodynamic methods require you to narrate, analyze, and "process" your past — often for years.

The Efremov Method®

No trauma storytelling. No regression.

The method doesn't need your story. It doesn't need your childhood. It works with the structural mechanism, not the narrative. No digging through past memories — the method addresses the active generator, not the biography.

Conventional Approach

Depends on the practitioner long-term

Weekly sessions, monthly check-ins, ongoing dependency. Progress stalls when sessions stop. Relapse is considered normal.

The Efremov Method®

Self-applicable after initial education

Designed to be learned and applied independently — 24/7, even during sleep, when the deepest patterns surface. Designed as a self-applicable skill, not an ongoing treatment dependency.

Conventional Approach

Results are subjective and hard to verify

"Do you feel better?" Improvement is measured by self-report, mood scales, and therapist impression. No live verification.

The Efremov Method®

Live verification in real time

The result is tested on the spot. Trigger the old pattern — if the charge is gone, it's gone. Not "I feel calmer." Verified. Documented. Absolute zero at the trigger point.

Conventional Approach

Works with thoughts and beliefs (the smoke)

CBT tries to change thoughts. Affirmations try to overwrite beliefs. But thoughts and beliefs are consequences — they're the smoke and soot, not the fire itself.

The Efremov Method®

Addresses the engine that generates them (the fire)

Harmful neural networks create thoughts and beliefs the way fire creates smoke. You can't put out a fire by catching smoke. The method locates and collapses the engine — the drivers of malfunctioning neural networks.

A consequence of the mechanism

Why it can reach a child as young as three

Counseling, analysis, and most talk-based therapy need someone who can put feelings into words, recount the past, and reason it through. This does not — which is why it can reach a child as young as three. The one thing it still asks, at any age, is a real wish to be free of the problem: no method removes what a person isn’t ready to let go.

3years old
& up

Parent-Applied from Age 3

The method can be parent-applied from age 3 — an unusual characteristic among structural approaches. This is possible because the mechanism doesn't require intellectual understanding, verbal narration, or cooperation in the traditional therapeutic sense. It does not require months of preparatory "training" before anything can happen.

6years old
& up

Self-Applied from Age 6

By age six, a child can learn and apply the method independently — on themselves, without adult guidance. Adults often take longer to learn than children, because adults have more layers of resistance. The simplicity of the mechanism is the point: if a six-year-old can use it, the complexity isn't in the tool — it's in what you've been told before.

Books

Three books that lay out the theoretical foundation, the mechanism, and the hidden program that runs your life.

Book I — The Mechanism
Book cover — Efremov Method: Unwiring Pain by Andrei Efremov

Efremov Method®: Unwiring Pain — How to Reset the Brain's Fear Networks and Permanently Eliminate Chronic Symptoms and Anxiety

Your chronic symptoms are not a life sentence. They are the result of a faulty "alarm program" stuck in a loop — a Pathological Neural Network generating real pain in response to a danger that is no longer present. This book reveals the mechanism and shows why everything you've tried before was aimed at the wrong target.

Book II — The Theory
Book cover — Efremov Method: Primal Fear, Somatic Echoes by Andrei Efremov

Efremov Method®: Primal Fear, Somatic Echoes — A New Paradigm for Affective and Somatic Disorders

Written for clinicians and advanced readers. What if every "unexplained" symptom — the persistent pain, the gut dysfunction, the tension that never lifts — is not a separate disorder, but an echo of a single mechanism? This book presents the source: a Pathological Neural Network forged by primal fear. It dismantles the old models and provides a new evidence-based map.

The Program

Learn the Skill. Apply It Yourself. For Life.

This is not therapy, and it is not an ongoing treatment you depend on. It is the installation of a skill — one you apply to yourself, silently, anywhere, for the rest of your life.

I work online, strictly one-on-one — one private client at a time, never in groups. The work is education: I teach you the mechanism directly, you practice it on what actually troubles you, and by the end you can run the full process on your own — without me, without anyone. The goal is to make myself unnecessary.

The whole method — at once

No drip-feed, no "levels." The complete mechanism is transmitted in a single focused program, under NDA. There is a structural reason it must be taught whole, not in pieces — I explain it before we begin.

You leave the first session already using it

This isn't a course you sit through. You walk away from the very first session with your own direct experience of the work applied to a real charge — not theory, not homework for "later."

A built-in measure of progress

You rate each charge 0–10 before and after, and a piece of work is only complete at zero — confirmed not just in the session, but when you meet the real-world situation in your own life and the charge no longer fires. You keep your own log. You don't take my word for anything; you have your own count.

Mastery, not attendance

The program ends when you can run a full cycle to zero on your own, unprompted, while I observe — like a flight check. You finish able to do it, and it's verified.

Direct access to me

Live one-on-one sessions over Zoom, plus two weeks of direct messaging with me as questions come up in real life. Not assistants. Not a course forum. Me.

A skill, not a subscription

It works at the level of thought — no rituals, nothing spoken aloud — and can be applied 24/7, even in sleep. Once installed, it's yours. There is nothing to keep paying for.

What comes after — and why it's earned, not bought. The method you learn is complete — there is no deeper version and no "level two." What some people want later is different in kind: to have me work alongside them, applying that same complete skill to a specific goal in their life. That is a separate engagement, and it is not for sale at the start. You qualify for it only after you've completed this program, demonstrated to me that you genuinely own the method, and produced your own first real results with it. I take people further only once they've shown they can already carry themselves — I don't drag anyone who hasn't first learned to walk.

Before You Apply

This Is Not for Everyone

I take on only a few clients, each strictly one-on-one — never in groups.
This is a deliberate filter — not arrogance.

This is for you if:

  • You've tried the conventional routes and hit a ceiling — and you've decided, for certain, that you're done living with this
  • You want to own a skill you can use on yourself for life — the kind of independence most approaches never give you
  • You can free up real time — open, unhurried hours for your own practice, especially right after the first session
  • You're ready to do your own work between sessions, not hand the job to someone else
  • You can invest in yourself without financial strain

This is not for you if:

  • You're "just curious" or want to try it and see — I work only with people who've already made up their mind
  • You can't carve out the hours right now — if your days are too full to practice, this is the wrong moment, not the wrong method
  • You want someone to do it to you while you stay passive
  • You're looking for therapy, diagnosis, or medical treatment
  • The investment would cause financial hardship
What Happens Next

Three steps — so you’re never going in blind

1

Apply

You fill out the application below. I personally read every one. If the method is structurally applicable to your situation and we may be a fit, you’ll hear back within a few business days. Not everyone does — this is a filter, by design.

2

A short interview

We talk first — to decide together, not to sell. We choose the problems you want gone, score each 0–10, and pin down the exact real-life situations where each one fires. Pricing is discussed here, privately. I accept only cases the method structurally fits.

3

The work — under NDA

A first live session where you apply the method to a real charge, then two weeks of direct messaging as questions surface in your own life, then a closing session. You finish able to run the full process yourself — that is the whole point.

By application and interview only. The Efremov Method® is an educational program — not medical care, psychotherapy, diagnosis, or treatment.

FAQ

Common Questions

Are you a licensed therapist in the United States?
No. I graduated from medical school and completed a residency in psychiatry — earned and practiced internationally, not in the United States. I am not licensed to practice medicine or therapy in any U.S. state, and my work here is strictly educational.
What is the Efremov Method®?
A structural educational framework for understanding and working with fear-based and psychosomatic patterns. It is documented in peer-reviewed publications and two books. It is not therapy, not hypnosis, and not a medical treatment. The method works by locating and collapsing the neural network engines that generate problems — not by managing symptoms or changing thoughts.
How do I start working with you?
Fill out the application on this page. I personally review every one. If the method is structurally applicable to your situation and I believe we may be a fit, you'll receive an invitation to a short interview within a few business days. I respond if I believe the person is teachable and the method is applicable to their case.
What results can I expect?
I make no promises about specific outcomes. Individual experiences vary widely. What I can tell you is that the method is documented in peer-reviewed literature, designed to be learned and self-applied, and verified live during the process. Whether it's right for your specific situation is what the application and interview are for.
Can this really work with children as young as 3?
Yes. The mechanism doesn't require intellectual understanding, verbal narration, or traditional therapeutic cooperation. A parent applies the method for a child aged 3. By age 6, children can learn to apply it independently. Adults often take longer — not because the mechanism is harder, but because they have more layers of conditioned resistance.
Do I need to read the books first?
No.
I'm a licensed professional (therapist, physician, psychologist, etc.). Can I learn the method?
Yes — under separate terms. Licensed professionals are accepted under a different pricing tier that reflects the commercial value of what is being taught. You will sign an agreement prohibiting you from applying the method on anyone other than yourself without a formal franchise agreement. If you are interested in offering the Efremov Method® to your clients or patients, a franchise arrangement is available — submit the application above and mention "Franchise Inquiry" in your message.
Does the method work out loud? Do I need to say something?
No. The method doesn't work out loud and doesn't require you to say, repeat, or vocalize anything. It works through a precisely structured thought — you think a specific thought according to a formula, and the effect occurs immediately. No mantras. No affirmations. No verbal component at all. This is one of the reasons it can be applied silently, anywhere, at any time — including during sleep.
What if I have a neurological condition — can I still learn?
The key question is teachability. If you can still learn new information, follow a conversation, and apply new skills in daily life — a neurological diagnosis does not automatically disqualify you. The screening exists to filter out situations where the brain's learning capacity is structurally compromised beyond the method's reach. If you're unsure, reach out and describe your situation — I'll tell you honestly whether it makes sense to proceed.
Are you available for public speaking or lectures?
Yes. I speak on how the human psyche actually works at a structural level — and how this differs from what is taught in most universities and clinical training programs. If you are organizing a conference, corporate event, or educational program and want a speaker who will challenge conventional frameworks with peer-reviewed evidence, submit the application above and mention your event.
Can I try a piece of the method first, or see a demo?
No — and there's a structural reason. The method is taught whole, not in fragments, because foreknowledge lets the very patterns you're working on prepare their defenses in advance. A partial preview wouldn't be a smaller version of the method; it would be a weaker one. The recorded talks and the free book are the honest preview: they explain the mechanism in full. The method itself is learned in the program, as a complete skill.
Are you available for academic collaboration or media inquiries?
Yes. I welcome conversations with serious researchers, doctoral candidates, and journalists. For academic or media inquiries, please reach out via email with a brief description of your request.
The Person Behind the Method

Andrei Efremov

Andrei Efremov — clinical researcher, author of the Efremov Method, recognized by the U.S. Department of State as a person of extraordinary ability
E11 Green Card
Extraordinary Ability

I have spent more than a decade on a single question — and arriving at an answer most people resist when they first hear it: that the symptoms, syndromes, and conditions we struggle with — even the ones where we’re certain the cause lies somewhere else entirely — are, at their root, built on fear. The work has been to demonstrate that structurally, and to find the one intervention that actually ends it.

I've taught at post-graduate level, supervised graduate students, trained over 4,000 people in person — including 1,000+ practicing physicians — and published peer-reviewed work across Springer, SAGE, and Elsevier.

The United States Department of State reviewed the evidence presented and classified me as an Alien of Extraordinary Ability — EB-1A, Green Card category E11. The same immigration category as Nobel Laureates are likely to get.

I don't say this to impress you. I say this because when someone tells you "nothing works," it matters whether that person has peer-reviewed publications, thousands of trained professionals, and a body of evidence substantial enough for a federal immigration review — or just a nice website.
